Our Introduction

Hello everyone! Kevin and I have decided to join the world of bloggers! Of course, I (Jennifer) will be the one doing all the posts. Kevin has a hard enough time keeping up with his Facebook account! We wanted a place, though, that we could record what is going on in our daily lives. Right now, there is A LOT going on! Cheree (my daughter) turned 8 years old on the 26th of January! I can't believe she's already that old. It is absolutely crazy how fast time flies. On top of that, she's going to be a big sister in August! Kevin and I have been married since May of 2008, and we are very excited to be expecting our first child together on August 9th, 2009. We realize that it will mean big changes for all of us, but we couldn't be happier about it! This has posed another big challenge, as well--'house hunting'. I've come to hate that phrase over the past couple of months! Our current home is just not big enough to accomodate a family of four, so we are in a race against time to find a new home. There are several things that we are having to take into consideration that are causing it to be very difficult to find the house that is "the one". These conditions include (but are not limited to): location in relativity to my work, Kevin's work, and Cheree's school, reputable daycares available in the area, price, and size. Well, so far, nothing has fit the bill! It's very frustrating. My 3rd trimester will be in the midst of summer, so we obviously don't want to have to move during that time. We are praying that we find something quickly!
I will try to keep this blog updated, but I will make no promises. I can be very long-winded when I sit down and decide to write something, so I will have to update when time allows! I will try to come back in the next couple of days to post pictures of Cheree's birthday party (that was held at the local skating rink this past Saturday) and of my ultrasound pictures from my 12 week appointment! As I said, a lot has been happening recently, so I will try to catch everyone up as much as possible to this point!!!
